The Residence is located in a very quiet space, situated on the front beach of Mar Menor - in Los Urrutias -; it is a place of great beauty, where you can see (outside the high season) herons, flamingos and other kinds of birds.
THE MAR MENOR
The Mar Menor is a salty lagoon of 42 Kms. of beach and with a depth of 4 metres. It is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a narrow area of sand called "La Manga del Mar Menor". They are connected by means of canals, also called "golas". The calm water of the sea, the lack of swell, the average annual temperature of 20 degrees, 300 sunny days a year and its sandy beaches make it an ideal space for all kinds of nautical sports.
CLOSE URBAN AREAS
Concerning the closest urban centres, Cartagena centre is a 15-minute drive from ARBOLAR. This historical city is a truly jutting museum that offers the tourist a wide range of commercial and leisure activities, which includes from an excellent and well-preserved Roman theatre to shopping centres. It is also worthy of mention the beautiful city of Murcia, provincial capital, located 60 kilometres away from ARBOLAR, which is a major cultural landmark of the Spanish South-East.
LA MANGA DEL MAR MENOR
La Manga del Mar Menor is located 8 kms, off ARBOLAR, a tourist place that provides a great variety of tourist services, such as hotels, shopping centres, leisure and nightlife areas.
CABO DE PALOS
Cabo de Palos is also close to La Manga, a conventional fishing village where you can enjoy both its gastronomy and shopping. Likewise, the coast of Cabo de Palos is very well known due its spectacular marine life.
CALBLANQUE
